"We want cryptocurrency back", Supreme Court

On 3rd July, the writ petition filed by the IAMAI(Internet and Mobile Association of India) ,which represents internet firms and cryptocurrency-exchanges, to move against the Reserve Bank of India’s circular which basically instructs all entities regulated by it (i.e. banks) to terminate relations with any organisations that deal in virtual currency or cryptocurrency. Unlike the crypto-daddy of US CFTC chairman Chris Giancarlo who is a strong believer of crypto’s and thinks “it is owed to the future generation” our governments, RBI, and the justice department does not share the same opinion as them by revoking the petition. Although this DOES NOT mean cryptocurrencies are banned they are in a way a “blanket ban” as people are no longer allowed to trade them.
