Happy World Mental Health Day

Another day which reminds us of a very serious issue which very thankfully is not a widespread issue, but an issue how so ever. This day is a reminder for all of you out there to have a great mental health and keep your mind in shape as well as your body. A lot of people suffer from Panic Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Attacks and Depression which can result a persons life in many ways.

The root cause of these disorders are usually established in one’s childhood which can later on be the cause of a persons self-destructive habits such as substance abuse, eating disorders, delinquency, poor peformance in educational or professional fields.

If you are someone who is not mentally healthy we would recommend you a psychiatrist, a therapist or even your best friend. To all of you who think you’re “Fine” hold up, you dont get off so easily, maintain that health, keep it fit and healthy, meditate, yes it’s not just vodoo wishful thinking, meditation has actually been reported to thicken the brains cortex making a person smarter, do yoga, which is said to reprieve you from the stress and anxiety of life.

It is truly sad and a soul-piercing fact which just unsettles a person to his very core to know that mental health is taken for granted in our society and even in this era is considered to be a taboo and at the same time the youth of the society considers depression to be a trend. People often make the dire mistake of giving others space when they become distant or quiet thinking of it as cracks in their relationship and thats where bad get to worse. Why is it that no one ever asks a person again if they are fine? Why do we take everything at face value? How do people forget the legendary comic, quite possibly one of the best, Robin Williams. A person who gave us endless laughs and even more lessons. Who would’ve ever thought that this happy face had so much pain in his soul before it was obviously too late. Maybe that person who doesn’t pick your calls is not being distant, maybe that person who doesn’t go on any outings with you does not like lonesliness, maybe that person who sits in the back of your class or office is not an introvert, maybe that person who said I’m fine is not fine, but that’s not the worst part, the worst part is when it so happens that you believe it. Help that person out, go all out for these people cause they deserve happiness just as much as the next person, and also because there is already enough hatred out there in the world so lets just help someone and make them smile today because(and I’m quoting the band of Black Eyed Peas here) that’s we’re made of, Big Big Love. ❤
